1 Peter 1:18-20 - It's possible to be spiritually free, but naturally bound. It's also possible to be naturally free, and spiritually bound. Freedom has always required redemption. Freedom has always been a bloody business. You appreciate the freedom because you appreciate the cost. Value is determined by sacrifice. If you're going to be free, you have to meet it with opposition. You cannot worship God without sacrifice. God is calling you to worship in the wilderness. The tabernacle is a tent where humanity and divinity met. Jesus is my tabernacle. A shadow is always the result of an object cast through light. God commanded Moses to build the tabernacle according to pattern. The tabernacle is a shadow of God. Christianity opens with blood. God is the God of reparations. He is a God of generational blessings. God let me learn something in captivity that led me to my liberty. The lamb is a substitute for us. He is our replacement. He took our death; we took his life.
